If there are any present codes existing, the power light will flash ON-OFF several times when the ignition is switched on. If the power light "proves out" normally, then there are no present faults.
1 If possible, drive the vehicle until transmission reaches operating temperature.
2 Stop vehicle, place in park and turn the ignition OFF. Apply handbrake.
3 Connect the white "Trans Check" single pin connectors together and start the engine.
Note:from this point on, only touch the throttle or brake pedals when directed.
4 Connect the green "Engine Check" single pin connectors for 10 seconds then disconnect. Ignore the "Check EVCT" light if it flashes at this point.
5 Move gear selector into R position.
6 Move gear selector into N position.
7 Move gear selector into D position.
8 Move gear selector into Ds position.
9 Move gear selector back into D position.
10 Ensure the road is clear, release handbrake and accelerate to 50Km/h as fast as possible and hold for at least 5 seconds.
11 Release the throttle and coast to a stop using only the park brake to stop (if necessary).
12 Depress and release the brake pedal three times.
