Note:For vehicles with a VIN# of 144845 or higher.

Auto Repair Manual - How to read codes (No Special Tools Needed)

1 Ensure the ignition is switched OFF.

2 Connect the terminals using your own wire link, (Click here for details) , as shown in the diagram.

3 Turn ignition ON.

4 Codes will be emitted via SRS Warning Light.

4 If SRS Warning Light does not flash, either there are no codes in memory OR the diagnostic connector is not correctly brigded..

5 Read codes as described in the Code Format Description below.

6 Press the continue button to enter the code numbers and get the code description(s).

Please Note:A maximum of 3 codes can be stored at one time.

Code Format Description

• Each code is made up of two series of flashes.

• The long flashes indicate the 'tens' digits.

• The short flashes indicate the 'ones' digits.

• A long pause separates each code sequence.

• Code Format Diagram shows code No. 12.
