Auto Repair Manual - How to read codes (No Special Tools Needed)

Note:Module may need to be removed to expose LED. However for modules in the boot side finisher, there should be a small hole which can be used to access the LED. Only one code is stored at one time. to get next code, repair and retest

1 Drive the vehicle faster than 30kph for at least 1 minute.

2 Leave the engine running.

3 Read codes as described in the Code Format Description below.

4 Press the continue button to enter the code numbers and get the code description.

Code Format Description

• Only one code is displayed at one time.

• The code is a straight count of flashes, 5 flashes represents code 5.

• A long pause separates each repetition.

• Code Format Diagram shows code No. 5.
