Note:If after following the instructions below the ABS light does not flash it either means there are no fault codes or there is a connection error. To test connection, remove a sensor and carefully / safely hoist the car and spin the wheels faster than 30kph with the key on, then recheck codes.

1 Drive the vehicle faster than 30kph for at least 1 minute.

2 Stop vehicle and turn ignition OFF.

3 Connect the terminals with your own wire link, (Click here for details) , as shown on the diagram.

4 Turn ignition ON. If the ABS warning light stays ON there are NO fault codes present.

5 If the ABS warning light flashes read codes as described in the Code Format Description below.

6 Press the continue button to enter the code numbers and get the code description.

Code Format Diagram

Code Format Description

• Code sequence begins with a 2 second flash.

• Each following code is made up of two series of flashes.

• The long flashes indicate the 'tens' digits.

• The short flashes indicate the 'ones' digits.

• A long pause separates each code sequence.

• Once every code has been displayed the code sequence repeats.

• Code Format Diagram shows code No. 12.
